Wisley all about plants 2015

Club display at Capel manor 2014

Last Sunday in June has been a regular show date for many years now, but unfortunately the show seems to be getting smaller. Venue the Capel manor gardens has got very broken up and it felt like the show was all over the place. Just 2 clubs on show and one of those is not a club but a small but very talented and dedicated group of individuals. All said good day and a good to catch up with old friends and meet some new collectors.

Same venue in October for Autumn show, stay tuned .

This month was our evening club show and social.

I seem to miss a few trees down the middle sorry to owners for this.

Visit to koju-en shohin nursery 2010.

Our visit to the nursery in November 2010 was fantastict the year before we had very heavy rain but this time it was great. Considering it was autumn the nursery was immaculate. We were met by Tomohiro who’s English is very good.  The quality of the trees is of the highest standard, with many prize winners to see.  We were drawn to the pot room where new and antique pots sat side by side.
